On November 8, 2024 during our general membership meeting we tried a new idea.
We conducted our own silent auction like the fundraisers we have volunteered for over the years supporting organizations like Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra and Washtenaw Literacy.
Members bring new or gently used items they have collecting dust on a shelf and offer them for auction. The winning bids are donated to Food Gatherers of Ann Arbor.
At our November meeting we raised $270.00 dollars.
